        Very sweet, but I seem to remember that even in the early 80's when I worked there, we had a 4106 numbered 500... could it have been renumbered?

          To Anonymously;

          Yes, there was a PD-4106 #500 at Schenck Transportation during the 1980's. It was parked and serviced at Schenck, but it was owned by  "Tommy Transit." Tommy Harrison, Bill Harrison's son purchased his own bus and used it for charters.
          It is my understanding, that Tommy was killed in a bad accident, but not sure if it involved his bus, or personal car?
          Btw, it is nice to know there is someone else from Schenck on the internet. What years did you work there? My email address:

          • Hi Mike,

            You had a easy winter up in the Albany area this year, hardly any snow. My family lives in the Clifton Park area.
            That's Arrow's 250. Drove it many times on the Hartford Albany run. I could of been your driver back then. Remember the rest stop at Johnny's in Canaan  Ct.? Great food..
