In Bruges

The Mediaeval City of Bruges is a magical place to spend a few days and easily accessable from the UK via the Channel Tunnel

Beautiful brick architecture! How many lanes go through the Chunnel. It must be a real experience for the claustrophobic. How long does it take to drive? Jim

Hi Jim, thanks for dropping by again :-) You drive onto a train to go through the Chunnel and the trip takes 35 minutes. Picture here:

I takes me 90 minutes to drive down to the Eurotunnel station which means I can be in Calais in just over 2 hours! Beautiful Bruges is about one hour's drive up the coast from Calais, Brussels is another hour further on.
