First event with the John Kester's Lotus. Photos by Pete Loney and myself. At lunch, during Saturday's Practice event, we had a track side wedding! See photos towards the end of the album.

Mainly shot with my new Canon 100/400 Image Stabilized lens. Not completely happy with it. Not that sharp. Not as sharp as the one I borrowed from a friend to try out.

Update ... returned that ...more

100/400 zoom and replaced it with fixed focal length 85 and 300 mm lenses ... that will be sharper.

Practice and Race photos, with my new Canon 300 mm, some with the Canon 1.4X Extender, V2.0. Also some with my old Sigma 70/200 2.8 zoom, but now without an extender. Glad I returned the Canon 100/400 ...more

zoom. I probably just got a bad one, but again, the Auto Focus on the 300 mm is always going to be faster.
