Thursday 24th November

Home time! A really long day spent trying to kill time before the long 13.5-hour flight back to England.

Wednesday 24th November

A visit to my dad's house in Cheng Uk, Nam Chung, New Territories, not far from the border with China, my dad's doggy called Wong and hike up a steep mountain path which was very knackering!

Tuesday 23rd November

Ocean Park today to see pandas as well as plenty of fish and to go on another cable car.

Monday 22nd November

Went a bit mad on the Big Bus Tours! Up some mountains to Stanley on the other side of Hong Kong, a jaunt around the harbour on a sampan to see boats and the famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant, and another Big Bus Tour around Central.

Sunday 21st November

A trip to the New Territories to see my dad and grandmother and to point at chicken feet soup, a flipping massive TV in am equally massive shopping centre in Sha Tin, a walk around Kowloon Park and some top Japanese food in the evening.

Saturday 20th November

Day trip to Macau, journey over on the Cotai Jet, a walk around the Macau Tower (with some random Japanese guys from Osaka), loads of nice food at the food festival, and a glimpse at the Macau GP while waiting for the boat back to Hong Kong. More photos missing unfortunately. Few drinks at Deck and Beer and also a German bar called Biergarten.

Friday 19th November

A trip on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, sadly some photos missing and my camera ran out of batteries, sushi in the evening and a walk around the Temple Street night market to look at knock-off goods!

Thursday 18th November

The Star Ferry to Central Pier, a ride on the Peak Tram up to the observation deck, some birdies at the Edward Youde Aviary, an ice cream at the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, a beer in Soho, a ride on the world's longest covered escalator and dinner at a place that Bill Clinton apparently likes!

Wednesday 17th November

A walk around Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui and the Avenue of Stars during the day and watching A Symphony of Lights and some cheap grub in the evening.

Tuesday 16th November

Arrived in Hong Kong, checked in at the Ramada in Kowloon and went for a long stroll in a random direction.

Monday 15th November

Leaving Heathrow airport for Hong Kong.

Turbo diesel power! Bought with 156,692 miles on the clock.

Stelvio and Gavia Passes. In dodgy Fiat 500 hire cars. Pretty wild!

The Italian Knobs, Pikeys Peak, Nothing Handles Like a Rental, etc.

Nice hotel for £1, road rage, getting lost, vodka in an ice bar.pancakes, curry, noodles and duck, weird street artists, small electric cars, superman impressions and not going to the Aquarium because it was crap.

Thursday 31st July: Ipswich, Chelmsford, camping in Wetherby, fish n chips, thunderstorm and rain in a tent

Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August: Hoscote House in Scotland, Emma and Munfred's wedding

Sunday 3rd August: camping in Welshpool, Wales, mooing cows, Chinese grub in a pub

Monday 4th August: Essex...
