Made it to BSL - Apr 2012

Experienced shedding in the months of August & September which brought me back up 1.5" above BSL. Also have been experiencing a lot of breakage due to the use of BKT. Never again.

Goal - MBL sometime in 2013

My plan is to do small trims as needed and when I reach the next goal do monthly trims until it thickens back up the way I want it to. I am taking vits and have been consistent with them all year, so cross your fingers my hair will be just as glorious as it used to be! :D If not more so...

I chopped a few sections somewhere in the middle down to a few inches where the breakage was really bad.

I have also added sulfur and coffee(for caffeine) to my regimen and do believe it has helped increase my growth rate and reduced my shedding. The year is almost up!!

Not many pics taken this year. But I did make it back to APL. As of Nov 2011 My hair is about 10" from root to tip.

I am going to start this year off with a Cut!!
In Jan, I cut off about 4". I went from BSL back to APL.

In Feb, I cut away all the uneven ends. A set of ugly 'chubby' twists is what made my final decision.

The flat iron I use is a 1" FHI. I got it from folica.com on sale a few yrs ago. I love it however I don't really recommend this particular model because it does not have a temp. setting.

I am currently on a personal protective style challenge until my hair grows back out. I will be taking out my kinky twists 1-2 weeks. I will be doing a full update and putting back in the kinky twists or whatever protective style I feel like doing right after. I guess I am doing the crown & glory method.... :P My way!

As of Dec 2008 I am now BSL!!! YAY!!

Lost all the pics from the end of 2007:(. had some nice length shots from a flatiron from christmas and ponytail comparisons.

I haven't done my own nails in years and decided that I should get back into it.

I like to sculpt my nails. I dont use tips at all. sculpting is hard! ;)
