Grounding Mod

Adding cables to the engine bay to insure proper grounding of the engine, trasmission, and body to the battery negative terminal.

Wire and connectors were sourced from www.partsexpress.com . Red is part number 100-194, black is part number 100-196. Gold crimp fittings are 095-656.

Also used lead-free solder and flux, fine rosin core solder. Miscellaneous tools include a cable cutter, Co-axial jacket crimper, vise, propane torch.

Making the cables took about 3 hours, installing took about an hour.

Grounding points and cable lengths (connector center-to-center):

Throttle body -> Engine: 14";
Engine -> Transmission: 16";
Transmission -> Battery: 26";
Battery -> Drivers body: 30.5";
Passenger body -> Engine: 28.5";
