Since the Club visit to the Scottish Parliament was going to be quite busy (50 members)I decided not to take a tripod so all the shoots were hand held (or supported against walls etc.)Some of the areas were not very brightly lit and ISO 1600 was used for all the photos

Held @ the Showpark in East Kilbride the track had been well broken up by the time the senior men started their race. Most of the route was mud with some of the areas waterlogged. Well done to all the runners who managed to complete the race despite these obstacles

Another visit to the zoo and more new animals to photograph. The display of the birds flying was very good until one of the birds decided it liked chasing the bigger birds and disappeared into the distance. see also

Robin and some flowers which were bought and some from the garden. The ones which were bought look nice but they didn't last very long so just as well I took the photos

Walk round the outfield of the local cricket club to try and get some different shots. Unfortunately they all look the same with different batsmen. East Kilbride were bowling so not many of the local team in the photos. See also their web site
