The newly refurbished City Halls were open to the public today. Although there were some concerts on the building was also open for casual visitors like myself. I managed to catch a couple of recitals in fairly dark surroundings. Well worth the visit and hope to see a concert soon

Visit to see the outside of the refurbished Kibble Palace while the light was good. I was very lucky when one of the workers asked if I would like to see inside. No other visitors and everything nice a clean. The openning is not until 30 November so I was very lucky to see inside. The sun shining through the structure was really impressive.

Then walked through the other glasshouses - where all the flower photos were taken - before going down to the Kelvin Walkway where a heron was sitting next to the footbridge. Back up to the Kibble Palace to try and get other views in the slightly different light
