Part of a walk that started and ended at the Falkirk Wheel. We were lucky to reurn just as the light in the sky was fading and the lights on the wheel starting to show up. No tripod so had to rest the camera on fencing. The walk brought us in to a view we had not seen before which was an added bonus

Travelling north towards Glencoe we had to stop to take some more photographs at this fantastic location. The light was so good and was changing as we walked around. We have stopped many times before but this was the best we had seen it. The initial images from the camera were a little disappointing, but a little work improved them but not to what it looked like. A few weeks ago a presentation at the camera club provided some tips on dodging and burning in Photoshop. This tips help to bring out the best in the images and I have finally got round to processing them and I am happy with the results. I hope you are

Day out at Dean Castle Country park in Kilmarnock. A lovely day which made excellent by the staff at the castle (an excellent free tour) and at the cafe (very happy the serve us even although we arrived just at closing time)

After visiting Dean Castle we went to Ayr and were blown along the prom. At the River we managed to get some photos of the bird life before we went for dinner at The Brig o'Doon Hotel
