http://www.stourporttown.co.uk/ When we visit Wales we like to break the journey by visiting other places on the way down and on the way back up. We decided this time to spend 2 nights going down, 2 nights in Wales and 2 nights coming back. The Late Rooms web site was used to find accommodation for our journeys. The Menzies Hotel in Stourport-on-Severn was available at a reasonable rate. I had never heard of Stourport, but after looking up some information on the web we decided to try it out. We arrived early evening and went straight to the river/canalside on see what the town had to offer. The river and canal infrastructure looked as if it would provide plenty to photograph. The next day, after viewing the buzzard from the hotel car park we headed off for a walk which would take us across common ground to the river and then follow the Canal towpath before returning to the hotel. Lovely weather and skies meant we got plenty of photos but Stourport was a little disappointing
