Walk with St Leonards Ramblers.
The first one in a while that I have felt the need to take a number of photographs.
The yellows of the Rape fields and the gorse were very striking and the brooding skies over the waving grain field hard to resist. Plenty of ferns unfolding. The graveyard of cars and old machinery couldn't be missed Not many photos of walkers.

Part of the West Highland Way.
First of all drove up to Inverarnan to get the bus to Tyndrum. Found out when we got there that the bus we hoped to get didn't exist (web timetable was wrong). Drove to Tyndrum and caught the bus back. Now we are walking up the way instead of down. We both found it quite hard and a little boring. Weather was good with a couple of light/short showers.

Walk from Swanson, just outside Edinburgh, into the Pentland Hills. Muddy and steep in places.
An army exercise near the end of the walk added an extra dimension we had never experienced before

Trip up the Cairngorms on the Funicular took us out on to the snow covered slopes

Trip with the Midweek Walkers to Coylumbridge with stay at the Hilton Coylumbridge. Excellent time with very varied weather

Recci along Southern Upland Way then out on to the hills
