I finally made it to burning man, what an adventure! Lovely, difficult, noisy, delightful, crazy and wild.

The wonderful Rachel or Dancing Your Bliss and I (Janet Morgan, Artist in Residence) put on a event called the Painted Dance at Omega in the Art Hut (for staff). We had a blast, and ended up with more than two dozen folks covered with paint - phew!

In Santa Fe New Mexico, they have been having a Burning Man for 87 years! They burn the world's largest marionette, a 65 foot Zozobra, or Old Man Gloom. But first, they tease him with fire dancers, and he shakes and moans. Finally, he burns, in a cascade of fireworks and 25,000 folks yelling Burn Him! Just wonderful...
