In early July, 2008, I traveled to Phoenix on business. The weekend I stayed over would have been totally boring. So I drove up to Sedona and spent the day taking in the sights. Enjoy them!

Due to a leaky pipe behind our dishwasher, water crept around our kitchen beneath the cabinets. We never noticed a problem until the laminate flooring in the dining area started to warp. Now we need: Mold abatement (including tear out of lower cabinets and the closet in one hallway), new kitchen plumbing, new hardwood flooring (including kitchen, dining area, and entire living room areas and halls), major electrical work to allow for the new cabinet design, and all new cabinetry. We're also extending the kitchen out into what was considered the dining area. The dining table is already in the west end of the living room, so that's no problem. These photos show the work areas as they appeared on 4/1/09.

These photos should be viewed after viewing those in the previous album. These photographs will document the work being done on the kitchen, but not the finished project.

Pictures of the memorial service and garden at the Deer Island Nursing Home where Laura Buttles resided before her passing, earlier this year (2010).

It's September 23, 2010. Yesterday, My son's tortoise's mate's first egg hatched.
