All students were involved in two morning and two afternoon work periods of farm and other work. There were no classes.
Some of the work consisted of harvesting the rest of the potatoes, corn, and squash, and removing dripline from gardenhill, trail maintenance, cutting and processing of trees, woodstacking, removing old fencing, tying sap lines to trees, and work in the greenhouses.
The snow-capped mountains are from looking East off Gardenhill to the Presidential Range in New Hampshire.

All students gathered in the dining hall at 4 (on-time!), received an introduction on their chores and afternoon work from Jack, and then were assigned to an adult.
Some of the chores included dorm, classroom, and office cleaning, feeding and watering the animals and chickens, collecting eggs, and dishcrew. Some of the other jobs consisted of picking beans on gardenhill, moving hay that was recently cut into the sheep barn, landscaping in front of derby, and the maintenance of one of the trails on our campus.
Not all students are pictured here working, but over the course of the semester I hope to have more than one picture of each student involved in a work or chore duty, or an activity. dorm, classroom, and office cleaning, feeding and watering the animals and chickens, collecting eggs, and dishcrew.
