A few pictures from the Winter Carnival.

Vershare, a local community organization, sponsors a Snowshoe event for local people. The event ends at the Mountain School where students provide games and activities for the children who snowshoe such as sledding, face painting, puppet-making among other activities.

Some students partake in the activities themselves.

Chores and chore training: chore meeting in dining hall, shoveling snow, snowshoeing to trails for tree pruning, collecting eggs, setting up classrooms for Monday classes, cleanup of kitchen, dining hall and art room, instructions on feeding wood furnaces, preparing medical kits, organizing calendar and textbooks, and work in harvest kitchen preparing potatoes for dinner. There were others chores not shown here.
