This is gorgeous. I wish you had written your pattern down. So what other pieces have you winged? ================= I wish I had written it down, too. I did a top (crochet) based on a ripple pattern, too. I didn't write that one down, either. I also did a knit top based loosely off the Tomato pattern that I didn't write down. But I am most sad about those 2 crochet pieces I didn't write down. I can't replicate this one to save my life now.
Mwedzi is that a cute little bunny I see under the chair??? aaaw, I miss my bunnies now ---------------------- sure is, that's my precious enif. bunnies are endearing, aren't they?
my goodness it looks like it's sugar dust...so cute:) =============== isn't it pretty?! lots of african violets look like this if you get close enough to them in the right light, esp sun light. some are more sparkly than others.
gurl! look at UR arms U R toned ================= thank you, though I think that angle might be a little deceptive. i really should exercise regularly.
Mwedzi your skillz are impressive. I have never tended to a plant in my life - (well kind jof but I imgine I was soo bad cos I cannot remember what happened to them.,) though I love them very much. I think seeing you has given me the impetus. I dont know how far I will get, but watch this space. ===================== Thank you. Plants are great. They really reward your efforts. There are lots of online sites to help you out, like Garden Web.
I love this. I know how to knit - though have not done for several years cos I never saw anything remotely like what I would want to wear. (Visions of old granny jumpers and cardis Eurrggh)
make me one!! :P i really love it ================== thanks, but man, i can't even make *me* one again. i'm going to have to try again to get this pattern down.
You have skills!! ============== Thank you, I try. Magknits quit in a blaze of fury, so the pattern is now available for free as a download on Ravelry.
I'd love to see a closer shot of this sweater. :) ==================================== Are you on Ravelry? If not, get on it! It's a great resource for knitters and crocheters. My pattern is on there for free (since Magknits blew up). You can see multiple pictures and also you can see the ones other people have made from my pattern. :)
I don't think I'll ever be able to learn to do a whole sweater. :( Wow. ==================== You can do it! What holds most knitters back is doubt. Just try, measure as you go, pay close attention, and you can do it. The first thing I knit was a dishcloth. The second thing I knit was a tank top. The third thing I knit was a short sleeved sweater. You can definitely do it.
