Marcs GP LWB

This is my buggy which I purchased in november 2000 after being made redundant, so I needed something to cheer me up!! It took me six years to finish as I had to wait for funds to allow for work to continue.
It was originally made by GP buggies for someone and when I got it, it was in need of some TLC but was solid underneath and had no crazing on the body. Originally gelcoat white but now painted Black basecoat with purple pearlover the top and blue indigo metalflake in the laquer. Interior was totally recoved in black vinyl and carpet with many items chromed or made by a local engineering firm in alloy and stainless, including the pedals petrol filler. I also got some parts from america like the rear lights and fanbelt guard. It has been lowered in the Battlesbridge show picture with dropped spindles and standard rear with coilovers.
The engine is a basic 1641cc with 009, blue coil and twin 34ict webers. Wheels are ATS alloys ordered before the german car company went out of business along with the wink 5-piece mirror and steering wheel.
