Marks Volksrod
When I bought it, it was the standard orange of most buggies built in the 70's, however I don't know exactly when it was originally built, but it was in need of intense TLC. I've owned it for the last 3 years,
So I set to work on a full "body off" rebuild, some subtle changes I made:- Austin Princess rear lights (what were they thinking back then) replaced for Consul Capri 315 Rear lights, New "2 hoop" polished stainless steel roll bar fabricated, using the original old steel one as a pattern, seats are Corbeau Classics only recently recovered (due some mice nesting in them for the winter), new wiring loom, new wheels, front 6 x 15, rear 10 x 15. fully rebuilt and "blinged" using chrome or stainless steel (where possible)1600 twinport, single carb , and of course the colour change to VW Arctic White. All work carried out by myself with the exception of the hoop fabrication.
The name "RAMPANT TOUCH" is created out of using modern VW Badge letter, and it was given the name by my girlfriend Kerry.
