I meant to get these posted last year, but got busy and forgot. These were some of the first pictures taken after Margot bought her condo. There are several photos of my artwork here. Her and her boyfriend, Richard, had the place decorated rather nicely I thought.

We get together every year at Christmas time to do a little partying at Les and Tammie's Alger digs. Alger is about 60 miles north of our home in a rural area of Washington that is quite lovely.

Vickie hired "Bad Santa" for our 2008 Christmas party. Here are some photos of this event. It was fun!

I took a few pictures of our boat and Lake Washington on December 20th 2008. There are also a few pictures of mut, Casper. Snow is pretty, but takes to much energy to stay warm and drive anywhere.

I really enjoyed this activity with Samantha. Her grades went up and her interests shifted in a really good way. These are the last pictures I took this season. I am hoping she does this again next year. I think she was meant to swim.

My birthday was really good. On my birthday we finally got the playground we have been trying to get installed for the past 4 years. It was officially opened on this day! Nice gift, I thought! There are a few pictures of the kids on this equipment.

On our recent trip to Southern California, we met up with Tammie and Kristina. Tammie took this set of pictures. I haven't made the usual comments about these pictures, I didn't take them. Enjoy!

These are pictures we took on our trip to So Cal to attend Ronda's daughter wedding. More to come! The wedding was wonderful and the trip to Southern Cal was the best trip to this state I have ever taken.

We recently went for a ten mile cruise to Seward Park. There is a small inlet where lots of boaters anchor and enjoy the sun we occasionally have. It is located south east of Seattle.

Sunday's show was pretty amazing. The last day is usually the best. We were dazzled to say the least.

These are from the Friday practice show. I will also have Saturday and Sunday. I took several hundred pictures and have to sort through them for the best. We all got a pretty bad sunburn this day. I still can't figure out why it was just on Friday. But the other two guys only went out Friday and both are quite sunburn.

Family pictures and fireworks are the way we celebrate July 4th. The show on Lake Washington was better then ever.

The other day I was looking at the weather on Yahoo, and much to my surprise was red ball indicating a severe weather warning this past Saturday and Sunday. It appears the unseasonable warm weather (maybe 90 degrees) was going to be a problem. Hmmm. Don't laugh So Cal!

We had a birthday party at a house in Lake Chelan, rented by Margot and yours truly. There were eleven party animals and we went on a tour of the wineries in the area. While some of the rest of us rented jet skies.

The Margot pictures are funny. It's good she can laugh at her tough times. She got her hour cut do to the lack of travel and our economy.

We took this weekend cruise on the Norwegian Pearl. This is the same ship we went to Alaska on, last June. Two hours late starting was just the start of a not so great weekend.

Spring has had a tough time getting started this year. We go out on the boat, but it is a bit on the chilly side. We visited the Ballard Locks again and believe we will attempt to go thru them before summer and cruise the Puget Sound. I also have several pictures taken at the Seattle Super Sonics basketball game. This team is going to move to another venue next season.

This is Margot when she was little in my first boat. It was a monohull sail boat all of 14 or 15 foot. My brother and I took it out of Redondo Beach harbor in the Pacific Ocean. Had almost as much fun as I do with our latest boat, the Marvel Two.

When my daughter, Margot, was about five or six she got a very special gift for Christmas. It was a Cabbage Patch kid! It was something she wanted more than anything at that time and Santa Finally brought it. Marianne, Margot’s mother, had paid a black market price for this very precious gift.

Anyway, several months later Margot was playing with her doll and had just put on a disposable diaper on her little dolly. I convinced her that her mother had called her from the other room and while she was gone I undid the diaper and put a table spoon full of peanut butter in it. When she returned I convinced her that her dolly had pooped. Her head jerk back in complete surprise when there was actually some brown material in the diaper. I bent down and took a finger full of the peanut butter and put it in my mouth, telling her, yes it is poop. She started to gag, and I was just about in tears I was laughing so hard.

Margot told her version of this heart warming family tale at my 60th birthday party, which I enjoyed tremendously. I soon hatched a plan to try and recreate this humorous anecdote for her 32nd birthday. In this series of pictures are some of this really funny replay of one of the funniest stories we have ever shared with friends and family. Your comments will be deeply appreciated.

This Apple Iphone I got for my sixtieth birthday is just an amazing wonder of technology. It plays recorded music, plays music videos, goes on the web, takes pictures, keeps track of stocks, tells me the weather and can be used as a phone. WOW!

These were taken on February 23, on Lake Washington. We have had a winter that lasted too long and with just a little sunshine we hit the lake.

We went to Snoqualmie Falls for a Valentine get away. What a romantic setting for this day of love. We also went on a cruise on our boat the next day and have some pictures from that also.

I bought a new computer, an I-Mac. It has this feature on it that allows a person to snap pictures of yourself and even someone else if they can get close enough. Some are of me alone and some are with my wonderful little Sam.
