Of the series, I like the colors in this the best... goes with the blowing of the head and hair.

This speaks to transportation...

 wholigan wrote: Sunday, October 22, 2006 - 4:06 AM

Another interesting concept... the technology aspect is not un-noticed. A splash of red doesn't hurt.

 wholigan wrote: Sunday, October 22, 2006 - 4:03 AM

Very interesting ... makes one think!

 wholigan wrote: Sunday, October 22, 2006 - 4:02 AM

Love geometrical simplicity and gradients... Also, there is something about Jesus in this picture, isn't it.

I wonder how it would look with the spike going up were 'cloned' out of the picture. My sense of integrity and truth would never allow me to suggest something like that but:

a. as my teacher tells us "think digital"
b. the spike might be weakening this wonderful collection of textures, colors or is it colours, and sky and water, and old barnaculed cement block with pipe fitting.
c. you are not a photojournalist but an artist seeking a different 'truth'
d. I am fond of rationalizing <g>

You made some valuable points, I had the same problem with that pin, but couldn't decide to brush it away for several reason. It's kind of a landmark and I am not sure if I really wanna alter it. maybe one day ;)

so cool - you, your hidden camera obscura, and their legs and their reflections... if you entered this into the "Reflections" contest my entry has no hope, it is all over but the voting <g>... I am going off to burn my worthless pixels

Oh, if I saw this outside my window I know what I would do and it wouldn't be to grab my camera. It's almost fearsome.

Reflections and shadows are two of my favorites. This one is very beautiful and the B&W makes it even more interesting.
