Variations on a sunrise   RSS
May 23rd, 2007 5.20 am

Playing with different settings, mainly WB, zoom, aperture and speed. Most amazing for me on taking sunsets or sunrises is how the zoom and angle effects the light and color. Especially on my P&S cams I am/was always fascinated by the huge effect that small changes in angle or zoom have on lighing and mood of a pic. In the attempt to discover the most rewarding mix of zoom, angle and camera settings I sometimes sacrifice the rule of third (to wich I have a reserved attitude anyway).

Most pics are straight out of cam and untouched. If there is more post processing than rotating, straightening or auto convertion from dng I will put "edit" behind the pics name.
