2009-10 NSRG Tryouts

On June 27, 2009, the North Star Roller Girls held open tryouts for the 2009-2010 season at the Roller Hole.

An exemplary squad of rockstars answered the call. The afternoon was muggy and hot, but that didn't stop thirty-seven women from skating, falling, sprinting, and otherwise meeting head-on every challenge the training and recruiting teams could throw at them. In the end, after some very tough deliberations, twenty-five newbies were chosen. Their work has just begun!

The Media Team congratulates everyone who attended this amazing day. The skaters dug deep and it showed; and the training and recruiting teams held an event that ran with smooth professionalism. Kudos all around!
