Bueatiful color arragement here. I like the way the light used to illuminate the setting brought forth the colors and didn't burn them out.

Love the B&W here. Would be great to have brought out the pic on the wall a little more or did you do that on purpose to shift the main focal interest?

I agree - visually. However I am not sure "why" and I am curious if you can say a bit more. I feel I am not 'getting it' as to why I even took the picture and spent a little time editing it the way I did. It is a clothing store out in the little village of Lennox in the Berkshires in Mass. Maybe it is the warmth of the red things trapped inthe interior jail against the cool darkness and greens of the grass?? hmmmm?

    not maybe ... exactly.
actualy i mostly write comments when i am fed with posting and sorting my own pics lol..mostly deep in the night or early morn...brain isnt always eager to think and articulate in a foreign language then ;)

but yes..its the trapped light ...all focused around a little yellow artificial sun under a dark sky (roof).
and there are awesome color combinations in the image.

second thing is that u would rather expect a living room or a restaurant behind this window and its suroundings than a shop

    rare foto! so cute

if you watch the progression of expressions of the man you will see he is dubious or mildly hostile to friendly. He called out to me that there was a charge for taking his picture and I said ok, I was willing, 'how much'... and he thought that was funny.

I am such a sucker for a good window shot. Nice one :)
Did they pretend not to notice a guy with the camera?
I bet the guy's saying: 'Can I order that fish on a picture?'

they did not notice as it was dusk and I was outside with a telephoto and they were hungry for sushi without delay or excess chit chat.
