Yeh so I am not even nearly there yet, but I am close, and yes, my hair does curl up and, I had totally forgotten about stretching with tights. will do so next time (if I remember)

Hi me again - my hair stretches after braids/cornrows.. I havent used heat in months, but I imagine that it would make my hair crispy.

I really like how these turned out. My hair is also very curly and would act just like that if I attempted those twists. When I get to your length again, I will attempt and remember to tie them up with tights (pantyhose).

girl u have talent. how do u get your hair to be so thick. is it the doo gro? im trying to find something to use on my 3yr old daughter.

ola: my hair has always been really thick, but the doo gro thickens it a little more. my hair use to be a little thin by my edges in the front above my ear, but i started rubbing doo gro on my scalp there and my hair grew thicker. before i couldn't put those areas in twist because it was thin and it looked really stupid too me, but it's doing a lot better. Also a few people in the yahoo group, black queen, suggested rosemary & spearmint oil for stimulating hair growth and making it thicker. i just got the oils and i'm really excited to see how they work. i'll definitely let you know how it goes. As for talent...thanks! It didnt come over night. i've been doing twist for 7 yrs now and it definitely took me a while before i got it down! lol
