On Sunday evening, July 22nd, I took some photos of the Blue Hole located on the back part of the The Village of Incarnate Word. July had just welcomed more rain than we have in years, the sun was out and it was a perfect time to take photos. I was however just a little disappointed that the water level wasn't higher. It had been a few days before but I was pleased with the photos. The following Thursday, July 26th, I showed up for my classes a little early after we had just received even more rain. The water level was really high and the photos came out great. Photos 4-24 were taken Sunday the 22nd and photos 25-47 were taken Thursday the 26th. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a bit of a perfectionist so take a good look at photos #46 and #47. I wasn't pleased with photo #46 because of the Utility Poles being an eyesore so I had a work crew remove them for photo #47. ha-ha I took some additional photos, #48-63, around the Blue Hole area on Sunday, July 29th to get some pictures while the sun while shinning a little brighter. On Tuesday, July 31st I returned once again just to get some photos of the Gate entrance to the Blue Hole when my good buddy Sister Mary Ellen O'Connor talked me into short tour of the Incarnate Word campus to see some ducks, photos #64-81. I'm thnking it was more like an 84 miles hike in the hot Texas sun. But it was fun hanging out with Sister Mary Ellen and I hope everyone enjoys the photos.
