The TU Ropers performed for the "K" Supper Club on February 12 to celebrate Valentine's Day. The "K" Supper Club is one of 9 Social Ballroom Dance Clubs and meets five times a year at Oak Hills Country Club where they dance to live a live Ballroom Orchestra and enjoy a really great meal. It's all about having great times with great friends.

The Ropers celebrated "Family Week-End" by performing in Heritage Hall at The VIllage of Incarnate Word. Later that evening five couples performed in "TU Spotlight" in Laurie Auditorium. A great evening was had by all.

What a great field trip!!! My students from Trinity University, North East Independent School District, The Village of Incarnate Word, Air Force Village I & II, McMillan Dance Clubs and my private students took to the floor at the Blue Bubble Ballroom. The music was by the Trinity University Jazz Band playing the Big Band Sounds of the 1940s. They were fantastic!!! The Ropers performed at the breaks but the highlight of the evening was The Ropers performing a boogie routine to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company "B" while the Jazz Band played and three of the AcaBellas belted out the tune giving the Andrew Sisters serious competition. The crowd went wild and I was ecstatic!!! If you weren't there you should have been... A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL.
