Je suis rentre deux semaines de cela dans ma ville cherie P-au-P (Montaigne Noire) apres dix ans; malgre sa bidonvillisation planifiee je pense qu'elle a gardee son charme, I did visited Jacmel , not quitte I did expected but I do beleive rigth now there no like P-au-P (la capitale). Je suis etonne de voir qu'il y a beaucoup de superbes maisons qui se contruisent specialement a Petion-ville, Pelerin , Laboule ,Belot, Tabarre et on veulent me faire croire qu'Haiti est pauvre. veye yo blanc American vle pran kenscoff nan min nou epi tou min brazilian ap achete te nan peyi mouin, yo mete kidnapping pou nou ka kouri ba yo peyi a; yo aleze nan tankou blez.

I salute you a hundred times over. I am overwhelmed by these pictures. I think this site should be linked to other sites and to derogatory sites or articles about Haiti, to quell negative views about our country.

Respe!!

These wonderful pictures should be used a Marketing tool to promote Haiti to the outside world and help with Tourism, which CAN be such an economic opportunity for Haiti growth.

Thank you ssooooo much for these wonderful pictures of Haiti, so dignified. I went to school in Canado and probably passed by this little church countless times...

Thanks for using your camera to project our country in such a positive light.

Great work!!!

There I was, at the top of the stairs on the left, every Sunday. After all, teenagers ( in 1964, 1965) go to mass but the 'cool' ones don't go in the church.

My husband lived rigth across the street (Alix roy) nest to that big building. I remember nearly destroying the facade of that church while hotwiring my brother-in-law's american car to go catch Bossa Combo at Ibo Lele! (1976). What a night!
