A day spent touring Argyle

Alan & I picked Mum up in the morning to take her for a wee run in the car.
Headed along Loch Lomond side to Arrocher where we sat and watched the Mountain Rescue Helicopter at work. We then headed for Inverary where we were able to watch the local school pipe band practicing on the green in front of the War memorial with views looking out over Loch Fyne.Although this was a school pipe bank, they were very very good.
After having lunch we headed to Lochgilphead then on to Adrishaig where we visited my brother John, having had tea with John we then headed for Ardfern, a absolutely lovely little place, out of the car for another wee walk then we headed for Oban.
Spent quite a while at Oban, after a walk we had the best tea of all, fish and chips from a paper bag while sitting in the car looking out to the Sounds of Mull.It was getting late, the sun was now going down, time to head home.
Heading off towards Tyndrum, Crainlarich then down on to the Loch Lomond road along the lochside we headed home in the darkness. A very, very long day, but worth the effort, Mum really enjoyed herself.
