Every year the club puts on an exhibition of the members photos, this is held at the local country park. Each member may submit photos to the exhibition if they wish to,some of the photos are sold to the public.
The cheese and wine night is a special preview night of the exhibition for the club members and also the venue for the annual prize giving and to herald in the new session of the club for the following year ie year 2005/2006

At the end of every year the camera club has its annual competition and most people submit up to 4 prints to be judged. They are allowed to submit any shots they have taken during the year or indeed may submit new shots.
After being a beginner last year I am now in the Intermmediate Section and submitted 4 prints and 2 slides. The slides are not shown here. Only 4 slides were entered in for the intermmediate section I was lucky enough to win 1st and 2nd place with them. I also won 1st and 3rd equal places in the prints competition.
The photos and slides are judged by an external independent judge.
