| As usual we set off on this Special walk to the Borders area of Scotland in high spirits.
After leaving East Kilbride we headed to Peebles where we had our morning coffee. We then headed towards Yarrowford where our walk started.
We set off the walk in dry but misty weather passisng Newark Castle, headed up through the woods onto the open countyside then onto the Duchess Walk which eventually took us back to Yarrowford and our bus. We then headed to Traquair where we had our evening meal at the Traquair Arms Hotel before heading home.
Weather not very good, but a good day out.
