A lovely day, we travelled to the Moray area of north of Scotland and visited the little village of Dufftown. Although only a small place it has seven whisky distilleries, The Glenfiddich Distillery appears to be the biggest, it has a lovely visitors centre, well worth a visit. While there we also visited Balvenie Castle which is just on the opposite side of the road from The Glenfiddich Distillery. After walking round the village we drove to the little fishing town of Buckie and walked round the harbour,a very quiet place compared with how it looked when I spent holidays there when I was younger. We travelled on to Cullen & Portsoy then headed back to Aberdeen.
