Took the ferry to the Iland of Westray to do a walk past Notland Castle and up to the Noup Lighthouse and RSPB reserve.
When we started our journey the weather was lovely, but as we were about to start the walk to Noup Head the rain started and only got heavier as our journey progressed.
We spent some time looking about the lighthouse, as we did this the rain became really heavy. We managed to get a lift back to Pierowall where we spent some time in the little hotel while we waited for the bus back to Rapness where we boarded the ferry back to Kirkwall.
