Travelled by the Orkney Bus from Inverness to John O'Groat's where we boarded the Ferry the Pentland Verturer to travel to Burwick on the Mainland of the Orkney Isles. After we crossed the Pentland Firth and landed at Burwick we travelled by bus to Kirkwall.
We rented a flat in Kirkwall for our weeks stay on the Island. After settling into the flat we walked to the harbour where we took some photos before entering the Kirkwall |Hotel for our evening meal. After our very enjoyable meal we again walked round the harbour before returning to the flat
