Visited my brother Harry and his wife who live in Beauly and while there visited the lovely Beauly Priory

On our way home we drove down the side of Loch Ness, on the way we visited Uquhurt Castle that sits on the banks of Loch Ness.
Beautiful area to visit with the mist hugging the hills, at times can look quite earie.

On our way home we had a short stop at The Commando Monument at Spean Bridge. We also passed through Glen Coe.

A 10 mile circular walk from our hotel at Strathpeffer to The Rogie Falls. The walk was very dirty in places tdue to the heavy rain, but the colours of the vegitation was fantastic.

A day trip to the Black Isle visiting Fortrose Cathedral and Chanonry Point at Rosemarkie Lighthouse

A visit to Fort George on the banks of the Moray Firth.
