Setting off from East Kilbride on a very cold and very foggy day, temperature on the car pannel saying -5 degrees outside Brrr. Our walk to-day is at Cardrona Forest near Peebles in the Scottish Border Country. As we have driven to they area the weather has changed from very foggy to gorgeous sunshine with blue skies with hardly any clouds in the skies. Someone again has pressed the sunshine button when printing out the maps. God is smiling on us. Brilliant walk with fantastic views over the border hills and in the distance views to Innerleithan and Walkerburn. Our day finished with tea at the Park Hotel Peebles, very cosy.
