After an early breakfast we travelled by coach to the Cairngorm Funicular Railway where we headed up the to the Ski Slopes and centre at the top of the Cairngorms.
On arrival we were greated by fairly deep snow and it was still snowing. Most of the people on the trip had a wander round, a trip to the shop and had a coffee in the cafe.
We then headed down to base level where we set off on our walk of the day which was a 6.5 mile walk at Loch Garten in the heart of the Cairngorms, we had some beautiful scenery on the walk. On completion of the walk we headed down the A 9 to Blair Atholl for our final stop of the three day break.
We then headed home to East Kilbride with singing on the bus all the way from Blair Atholl to East Kilbride. A true sign that the trip was enjoyed by everyone.
