A great day out with friends, we walked the Dun Na Cuaiche Walk within the grounds of Inverary Castle. Although we have done this walk before this time we walked with our Fotki Friend Gary(GS1) from New Jersey, USA.
This is the first time we have done this walk in the rain, and it was lovely walking through the forest with the rain glistening on the moss and leaves.
We climbed to a tower at the top of the hill, the views over Inverary and Inverary Castle were great.
Althou it rained for most of our walk, when we finished the walk the sun came out and we were all able to get fantastic pictures of reflections on Loch Fyne.
Our day ended at the Cairndow Hotel, an old coaching inn on the banks of Loch Fyne.
We then travelled home to East Kilbride where we had a glass of wine and said our goodbyes to Garry who is heading home to the USA in the morning.
