A really hot day and we ventured out to do a Recci for the Midweek Walkers.
Our walk took us to the Borders area, near the town of Selkirk. We took the Duchess Path and walked up through the forest, it was really hot , no air, we questioned whether we should have been walking on such a hot day in the first place. When we finally got out of the trees and walked up onto the hill there was a pleasent breeze that kept us cool for the remainder of the walk. Lovely day, lovely walk, lovely company.
