Our walk this year took us to the Trossachs area of Scotland. Before our walk we had a morning stop at the David Marshall Lodge situated within the Queen Elizabeth Forest at Aberfoyle.
We set off to do a 9 mile walk through the forest and over open moorland to finish at Portland near the Lake of Menteith. A beautiful area to walk in. We were very lucky, the weather was dry and sunny at times, but the conditions underfoot were very muddy in places.
On completion of our walk we changed into clean clothes and set off to the Buchanan Arms Hotel in Drymen to have our Christmas Dinner,
Another lovely christmas walk and meal.
