Traprain Law

Our walk took us to East Linton where we headed off to walk to Traprain Law. The weather was dry and sunny for almost all of the walk but very very windy, because of the windy conditions we were unable to climb the Law itself. We also visited Hailes Castle where The Earl of Bothwell brought Mary Queen of Scots after he abducted her in 1567, they married soon after this. Autumn is certainly making its mark, the colours are becoming quite beautiful. A lovely day out and the cobwebs were certainly blown away today.
