An overcast rainy day for our walk today, but the weather didn't matter we had lots of fun any way. When we started out we didn't know where we were headed, because the Christmas Walk is usually a mystery walk.
We found ourselves being driven north amd ended up in Perthshire, Our morning stop was the home of the famous Grouse Whisky Distillery just outside Creiff in Perthshire. After our morning break in lovely surroundings we headed off to the Glen Turret Dam where we started our walk from the Dam to Comrie a particularly lovely part of Perthshire. The mystery over we headed off on our walk, we had hardly started when we were again stopped for the first game of the day, this set the scene for the day. We had raffles, quizzes and downright silly games, but everyone took part so there were plenty of laughs.
After lunch we set off again and on the way we just happened to meet two funny men sitting by the side of the path, it was Santa and his Elf, there they were ready to give out gifts to every member of the club, again lots of laughter, kisses, hugs, and of course photos.
We headed off again on the last leg of our journey towards Comrie on reaching our destination we had 30minutes to get ourselves changed then we headed off again, this time our destination was The Royal Hotel where had a fantastic Christmas Dinner. A PERFECT DAY OUT.
