This WRA M1 Garand was recently acquired from the CMP. It's in the 1.2m S/N range (S/N indicates originally manufactured in July of 1942), is a typical CMP mixmaster (refurbed by Red River Army Depot post war and looks like mostly Springfield parts were used when refurbed), but is in what I'd consider to be 80-85% condition. Bore is near perfect on this SA (1951) barrel and I'm expecting it to be a great shooter. It's not the prettiest Garand in my collection, but it is the only Winchester. It's going to be with me for quite some time. :)
