I was obsessed with the pictures in the July 2005 issue of Essence and so this is my first attempt at one of the styles I kept drooling over. I did pretty good, but I will try it again later.

This album is a collection of pictures that resulted from me starting one style then altering it several times. I thought it was rather interesting. Enjoy!

This is a quick style that I tried and liked. I think I will eventually do it again.

Here's a few styles I have tried out since you last visited me.

I have said time and time again that I cannot cornrow. Well I got tired of having a can't do attitude and so I tried to do some cornrows with extension. The actually turned out alright. I cornrowed the top and ended up twisting the ends because I am more comfortable with twisting than braiding. Next time I will braid the entire extension.

These twists were done with a different type of afro kinky hair. This hair is a lot softer texture than the other hair I have used in the past. This was my first time working with this type of hair, so I think they turned out ok. I will try to redo them soon.
