I did the same thing on mine, it sure beats the whole hose clamp thing on the column. (esp since I have a tilt in both of my trucks) No annoying tach light reflections on the glass at night anymore either.
I have painted my guages white and installed white faced aftermarket guages in the bottom of mine too.

Thanks, I had "opened up" the dash where the tach goes with a hole cutting drill bit. The tach actually fits tight into the dash.

I have the same tach as you. I would like to know how you did that, mine is mounted on the steering collum I think that looks great.

good job on the bezel, especially the tach, i did mine the exact same way, and it looks killer. if i ever get a digital camera i'll have to post some of mine, done a lot of other mod's to the dash.
