Diane had to change out of her bright yellow satin Frank Gawlinski jacket before she gave out this trophy.

Around 1986 I saw this car, still with big block ford installed, in the weeds at Weltmeyers old yard in Harvey.

This was one of my least favorite Danny Colyer cars. Was this suppose to be a tribute to Richard Petty?

Anyone remember the white Levi's bell-bottomed pit crew of Bud Kaye's in the 1970's???
The purple shirts were the icing on that cake.....
Guy on the outside was Bob Norkus #32 in a true Hobby Stock car. So he shouldn't feel to bad. Plus, he may be passing Pooch and just went high to avoid body damage. I still can picture that Vette coming to the track on the back of tow truck. One of the last times I ever saw a Late Model towed instead of on a trailer.

If I was that guy on the outside, and Pooch was passing me,I'd find another hobby.
