The greatest Lithuanian driver since Bud Kaye. His sponsor was in Dolton when Dolton was STILL white. How old is this picture?

Thanks for the info Jim. I had heard the same Martin story. I always thought Martin had a bigger van with dual rear wheels.

This 57 Chevy may not have not looked like much, but it sure did get around the track.

Story I got from Tom is that he purchased the truck from a guy who had a portable welding business. He wanted to sell Tom the business, but Tom was only interested in the truck. He ended up making the deal for the truck only.I work for Tom and drove the "little brown truck" to Raceway from 1988-2000.

Always a fun car to watch. It was painted like Koehler on one side and Pronger on the other.

Edgar Mounts. Their equipment was barely welded together, but there were out there every night battling for a win in the slow hit. You gotta love em.

It was nice back in the day when you would see different kinds of cars our racing. Not many Mavericks in the field.

How do you know it was the trophy dash? It could have been the feature. It was the same line-up at this time.
