Another Champion who doesn't get his due. Hill did great things in racing. Same with Freeman, Simonsen, Para, and Middleton.

The original "Intimidator" running against the original "One Tough Customer". Wonder what Earnhardt could have done against these two and the likes of Pronger, Janecyk, Van Allen, Simonsen, Kemperman, Kullman, Williams, Kapovich, Hill, Freeman, Middleton, Para, Weltmeyer, Oldenberg, Church, Bauer, and Nutley.

Went to school, hung out with Tom's kid Frank and was always at the house when the car was being worked on, thought I was a member of the "crew". Then reality set it when we all went to the track, cause then I was just a kid having fun. What great memories that I'll take to my grave...I sure miss those days!!
    Great site,thanks....

    Early 1950's action

Don Schultz was a friend of mine during the 1960's
My cousin and I stopped at the dair Queen on Ridge Road and later on my wedding day in 1972,the entire wedding party stopped in and got a dairy queen Don was a good starter at Illiana and I still miss him.
If anyone remembers Gentle Ben from Illiana youve got too much free time on your hands
