The guy in the #56 doesn't run any better in the vintage series either.

Bud didn't like the camero. It took some persuasion to get him in it. And I think he won about 9 features in a row after he did.

Bud didn't like small cars???????? He drove a Jaguar to the race track if he wasn't in his work van. He also said he never drove a brown car. The brown Chevelle with the silver 77 on the sides that he "never drove" was one of our favorites! No starter fire here.

This was the trophy dash and Bud was not too happy with Harry. I remember pleading with Bud to drive the camero and he would say, "I don't like small cars." Finally, he got into the camero about half-way through the year. Who remembers how many feature races Bud won in a row when he finally did get into the camero?

Don't believe Lee Schuler raced at Raceway on opening day of 1976. If he did, he didn't do much.

Taken on the first day of a great 1970 season. Great day for taking pictures.

I was very small back then, but I seem to remember this being in a trophy dash and one of the first nights Harry was in the car.

This was the year Freeman wore Koeher out. That car of Freemans did not look like much boy it was unbeatbable.

Bud never seemed to really like this car. Seemed like others drove it more than he did.

I loved this car. It was not the fastest, but sure was sharp.

This was taken from the in-car camera from Ol' 007. We got copies from Bond.
