I just learned today (06/29/09) of the death of Randy. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met and been around. I'll never forget the first time I took my first late model out to Raceway Park in order to practice. After I took several laps around the track, I decided to pull into the infield area on the backstretch where Randy was standing. I got out, flipped him my helmet and told him to take a few laps. He drove around for about 5-10 minutes. When he got out of the car, he had tears in his eyes. He said, "he will never own a late model and it was a dream of his to take a lap around historic Raceway Park in one". He and I had alot of fun and laughs. I am thankful for all he did for me on and off the track. He was part of "StreetWise". May God Bless him and all who knew him....
