We flew from Salvador to Manaus, 1000km from any other major city. From there, we ventured on a deep jungle tour to the south... Jungle Hotel; jungle trek with bullfrogs, fire ants and tarantulas; piranha fishing; a visit to an Amazon jungle school; and crossing Encontro das Aguas where the Rio Negro and Rio Salimoes join to become the mighty Amazon.

Not much to say here - Mutianyu is regarded as the best maintained section of the Great Wall. At 2,250m long, it took a lot longer to hike than I thought. I am definitely amazed how steep some sections of the wall are...
